This sourdough loaf is a custom blend of American and French wheat and rye flours formulated by our head baker. We bake this to a nice dark finish for a robust and flavorful crust on the outside with an airy, spongy and delicious crumb on the inside.
With the addition of the whole grain flours, the flavor of this bread is much more complex than the typical store or restaurant sourdough. The long fermentation process really brings out a unique flavor that separates this bread from the rest.
As an option, you can choose to add an organic seed blend topping (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds).
